Our Core Values – The Spirit of LSV
At LSV, we are more than just a Vietnamese language center. We are a place where international friends connect, where locals and foreigners build bridges, and where learning goes beyond the classroom.
Our goal is to create a warm, supportive community – not just for our students, but also for our instructors and team. We aim to inspire personal growth, celebrate cultural exchange, and form meaningful friendships that last long after class ends.

From our shared experiences and the way we work together, we developed a set of values that reflect who we are and what we stand for: Respectful, Attentive, Forbearing, and Trustworthy — or simply: R.A.F.T.
❓Why Raft
According to Wikipiedia: “A raft is any flat structure for support or transportation over water”. Rafts are characterized by their simple design and are usually by hand. In times of severe flooding even ants (fire ants specifically) will make rafts by grabbing onto each other.
We would like to think that we are a raft; a simple but efficient means of transport that brings you across the water to the shore of a comfortable and memorable life in Vietnam. We will assist you from your first day arriving in Vietnam, help you settle into the new city, show you the best local cuisine and most importantly, support you in learning our language and culture.
😁Vietnamese Touch – Bạn Bè and the Raft of Friends
There is another reason we love the word Raft. In Vietnamese, Bạn bè means friends. But when broken down, bè also literally means a raft.
It might sound funny, but I find it so beautiful – said Ms. Hanh.
To her, a raft represents the bond among close friends – simple materials tied together to stay afloat, even through life’s turbulence. That is how LSV was built: from mutual respect, shared care, and trust in one another.
